Some info about Alex and who he is:

What does snowboarding mean to you?
Snowboarding to me is relaxing fun that soothes my mind. It allows me to just let stuff go and get into the flow of whatever I might be riding. Snowboarding is my definition of fun because no matter what I’m doing on my board I am having a good time with it.

What kind of riding do you like?
I like to ride pretty much everything from looping the park all day to just free-riding and laying down gnarly carves. I just really enjoy being on my board and look forward to riding new things I have not had the opportunity to.

What do you want to focus on with your riding in the future?
I really like hitting jumps and focusing on my creativity in the air. I really like riding the little powder we have. I am really interested in riding backcountry and hitting big jumps because there is nothing like making a huge turn in powder and soaring through the air.

Where do you want to go with your snowboard career?
I would really like to go Pro someday, and travel and film. I just think it would be really cool to travel all over the world and see what other countries are like.

Other than snowboarding what else in life is important to you?
To me what is really important in life is my family and close friends, because at the end of the day they’re all you really have.

What hobbies or activities do you like other than riding?
Other than riding I enjoy working on my brothers jeep with him and going off-roading with it. It is fun to go explore. I also like to skateboard and train for jumps on my trampoline.

What drives or inspires you to progress to a higher level of riding?
I am motivated to progress because of the feeling I get at the end of the day when I learn a new trick an land it all day long or make a stock trick even better. I also want to go Pro someday and I realize how much work and progression that involves. I am 150% motivated to never stop progressing even if I never get to that level.

What do you want your snowboard career to do for you?
I want my snowboarding career to take me to other parts of the world and also give me the opportunity to meet all different kinds of people, so I can grow as a person. I also want to be able to help support my mom and brothers and give them a better lifestyle.

What riders influence or inspire your riding or riding style?
Matt Hammer, John Jackson, JP Solberg, Eero Ettala, Andreas Wiig, just to name a few. They all have their own ridiculous style
